Conservation Restoration Painings and painted objects, specialization in Paintings and polychromy
Bringing together and sharing knowledge, discussing various views, the multidisciplinarity surrounding projects and the urge to continuously learn make me a passionate conservator and restorer. This is supported by an appropriate master's degree in conservation and restoration obtained in 2003 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. I have also attended many courses at SRAL in Maastricht and IAP in London. Due to a constant urge to learn, I also organise workshops for conservators myself. I work for museums, churches, private owners and the government. As a teacher and senior conservator at the painting restoration / polychromy course in Antwerp since 2008, I have already had several hundred projects under my wings and brought them to a successful conclusion.
