THREE GENERATIONS OF RESTORERS
In 1988 Geralda Simonis started her training as a restorer of paintings.
First apprenticed to her father, Mr. J.M. Simonis who had also learned the trade from his father.
She subsequently gained a lot of experience through internships at various studios.
She also followed (and follows) many additional studies/workshops of the restorers training and the div. associations for restorers. In 2011, she has been working as an independent restorer in her own studio in Ede for 23 years.
Geralda can regularly be seen in various (regional) art programs and is available for lectures on restoration.
