Active professional painting restorer with over 20 years of experience and a unique combination of craftsmanship, scientific knowledge and technical expertise in the restoration of traditional, modern and contemporary paintings at museum level. Experienced in condition inspections, restoration, conservation and the installation and dismantling of exhibitions, including: “Rembrandt and his contemporaries”, “Love Stories”, “Romanovs under the spell of the Knights”, “Jewels!”, ‘The Treasure Chamber! – Masterpieces from the Hermitage’, ‘Dutch Masters from the Hermitage – Treasures of the Tsars’, and ‘Alexander, Napoleon & Joséphine’.

Responsible for the restoration of collections, drawing up condition reports and prioritising restoration and conservation measures for institutions such as H'ART (Hermitage), Stichting Portretten Enkhuizen, Museum de Fundatie (Zwolle), Drents Museum (Assen), Luther Museum (Amsterdam), De Nieuwe Kerk (Amsterdam), Museum Van Loon, Jewish Cultural Quarter and KNAW.
